Angela Zito
Angela Zito holds a BA in English with Creative Writing from Albion College. Before graduating, she completed two senior theses - one a collection of original sonnets and the other an evaluation of pedagogical anthologies of English Literature through the juxtaposition of poets John Dryden and John Wilmot, Earl of Rochester. The latter of these projects earned Angela the Edmund and Kathleen Jenkins Award, given annually by the Albion College Prentiss M. Brown Honors Institute.
While her academic pursuits are primarily literary, Angela demonstrates interest and expertise in other fields, as well. She minored in Cell & Molecular Biology and worked for several summers as a lab technician in Landscape Entomology at Michigan State University. She also has a passion for music, and as an undergraduate wrote PR for the Albion College Music Department in addition to playing in the orchestra.
Zito has been writing freelance since 2009 as she prepares to start work on her Master's in English literature.
